The Commission Process
The commission process starts with a quality photo of your subject, weather it's a pet or a sail boat, having a high quality photo to start always helps me to produce a quality painting. This photo can be digitaly emailed to me. Next choose your canvas size and shape. I will always offer my artistic suggestions. Finally provide details on background color changes if desired.

Since I started my career in the art field, I have only ever desired to create beautful pieces of art that I am profoundly proud of for my clients. It brings me great pleasure and satisfaction when a client is pleased and excited about the final product. My Name is Toni Harris and I am a part time oil painting artist who aspires to become a full time artist. This is my humble studio in my home in Austin Texas. I am a native of Chicago Illinois, where I started my painting career in 1998. I specialize in pet portraits but I am capable of many other types of subjects. I enjoy the process of transforming a precious photograph and a blank canvas into a beautiful oil painting full of life and color.
